About Schmidt RV Rental

We are Jim, Mike and JoAnn. Schmidt RV Rental is located between Sherwood and Hilbert and we operate from April through October. We currently have 15 RV's that come stock with lines, towels, kitchen ware, lawn chairs and more. We provide instructional videos and make sure you feel comfortable with everything before you leave. Here at Schmidt RV Rental, we hope to be able to offer lasting memories and the adventure of a lifetime!

We were exceedingly pleased with our experience with Schmidt RV. The orientation video they sent about the motorhome was very detailed and helpful both before and during our trip. Everyone was friendly and very helpful, and the unit was well maintained, clean and throughly stocked with all the amenities we needed for our vacation. I rented an RV from the Schmidts for a racing weekend at Road America and it was a great experience from start to finish. The Schmidts were great, very helpful, and easy to communicate with. They delivered the RV to the track and were very friendly and gave a great walkthrough on the RV. The RV itself was super clean and everything worked perfectly during the time. I highly recommend Schmidt RV and I'll for sure rent RVs from them again!

I highly recommend Schmidt RV Rental. I rented the Coachmen Freelander 29KB this past weekend as a fact finding mission because I am deciding whether to buy a motorhome. They made it so easy: I had a couple of phone conversations, did the application online, and when I picked it up I got a thorough walk through with instructions on all the systems and features.
Having the motorhome fully equipped with all the necessary gear for sleeping, cooking and campfires made it so easy for me.
During the weekend I needed to call with a question and Mike answered the phone immediately, which was very reassuring.
Their customer service is excellent.
